The evolution of low-code programming
Low-code platforms enable rapid delivery of business applications with a minimum of hand-coding and minimal upfront investment in setup, training, and deployment.
Building a low-code app development platform consists of two developer-facing parts:
- Graphical User Interface (GUI): A drag-and-drop environment used to create the user interface
- Programming language: A scripting language that helps you execute business logic
This video looks at the history of low-code tools and how these two parts evolved separately before merging to create the low-code platforms of today.
