Test Your MySQL 8.4 Upgrade With Real App Queries

Before you start, paste this into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, Kiro, or any assistant that can read a URL and run commands: The install-speedscale skill installs proxymock for your operating system and walks you through proxymock init. It stops when you need to complete browser sign-in, keeps your recordings on your machine, and connects the proxymock MCP server so your assistant can run the prompts later in this article.

Engineering Reliability: Continuous Pipeline Strategy for AI Model Validation

When an enterprise moves an AI system from a local staging environment to a live production cluster, standard testing metrics often break down. A pipeline that achieves excellent accuracy on static test sets can easily fail when exposed to real-world user data, changing context windows, or minor updates in third-party model APIs. For quality assurance leaders, maintaining software reliability requires moving past manual evaluations and building automated validation pipelines.

5 Test Management Tools to Evaluate in 2026

Software testing is becoming increasingly complex. Modern engineering teams are expected to release faster, support continuous delivery, manage larger test suites, and maintain quality across web, mobile, API, and AI-driven applications. That is where test management tools come in. In 2026, test management is no longer limited to storing test cases and tracking pass/fail results.

From Bug Counters to Risk Officers | Rupernita Sahoo

In this fireside chat, Rupernita Sahoo explore the fundamental shift taking place in software quality assurance. Executive teams no longer want traditional defect counts - they want QA leaders to quantify business risk, security posture, and compliance. However, many QA organizations, legacy tools, and success metrics are still anchored in the past. This fireside chat explores how QA leaders can navigate this transition while maintaining strong operational delivery and driving greater business impact.

Introducing Kong Operator 2.3: AI Gateway & More

Today we're announcing Kong Operator 2.3. Building on 2.2's expansion into supporting Event Gateway and Dev Portal, this release significantly broadens our feature set. While 2.2 introduced foundational event-driven capabilities, 2.3 brings Kong **AI Gateway** fully into the Kubernetes-native fold, enabling teams to manage LLM routing and policies through familiar GitOps workflows. This update also rounds out Gateway API coverage with `TCPRoute`, `UDPRoute`, and `GRPCRoute`.

Scanned PDF Processing in Astera ReportMiner

Watch Astera ReportMiner's Text Converter object automatically pick the right OCR engine for a creased fax, a skewed bill of lading, and a handwritten log, then turn each one into structured, exportable data. This demo walks through intelligent character recognition (ICR) in practice: a business receiving a mix of degraded scanned documents that would break a single fixed OCR engine.

AI Literacy Starts at the Top

AI literacy across 60,000 people starts with the C-suite. In this clip from podcast, Bethany Miles, Chief AI Officer at Advantage Solutions, shares how she built enterprise-wide AI fluency, starting with 10+ hours of hands-on executive training and a CEO coding workshop. What you'll learn in the full episode:→ Why AI literacy has to start at the top before it can scale anywhere else→ How Advantage Solutions redesigned broken processes before automating them→ What to measure beyond adoption (service excellence and time-to-complete)

Cloud vs On-Premise Load Testing: 2026 Guide

Choosing between cloud-based and on-premise load testing solutions is a strategic decision in performance assurance. Picture cloud load testing as casting a wide net – covering broad territory and adapting to changing conditions. On-premise is more like fishing with a spear, offering precise control but with limited reach.

$4.48 a Gallon: Your Holiday Checkout Is the New Mall

Remember when “going shopping” meant getting in the car? This fall, filling the tank feels like applying for a small loan. U.S. regular gasoline averaged about $4.48 a gallon for the week of September 21, 2026. A round trip to the store starts competing with free shipping. And free shipping never needs a parking spot. That doesn’t tell us how many shoppers will move online this holiday season.

Test PostgreSQL With the Queries Your App Actually Runs

The first number from my local PostgreSQL 16 test was roughly 1,600 statements per second. It looked impressive. It was also the least useful result in the run. The useful part was the workload. It came from queries the demo app had actually sent: the same prepared statements, parameters, reads and writes. A synthetic benchmark tells you how PostgreSQL handles a synthetic workload. It does not tell you whether your migration just broke the UPDATE your app depends on.
